- Find the full model number and any product or service code on your appliance's identification plate.
- Check whether you need an oven temperature, function selector, grill or hob control knob.
- Match the part number where available, including any suffix.
- Compare the rear fitting, shaft shape, fitting depth and pointer position.
- Check the colour, finish and markings, not just the front appearance.
- Read the product's fitment list and check whether it is genuine or compatible.
If the spindle or control behind the knob is damaged, replacing the knob alone may not solve the problem. Do not force an unsuitable knob onto the shaft.
