Pleased with result

These feet can be cut to the box section size of your ladder and banged in, there are screws provided to secure them, a tenon saw and a good bench vice helps with accurate cuts, trim feet to your required size to miss the extension ladder sliding down and catching them

Great product

Could not find a insert to suit my old ladder so ordered these.
I had to cut insert down to 62mm x 16mm.
Used a tenon saw to cut down to size, a hack saw is no good as it wanders while cutting.
Then a used a rasp file to finish to achieve good fit.
would totally recommend.

Extension Ladder replacement rubber feet

The rubber feet required to be cut to size and fitted to ladder .
The cutting was simple followed by drilling through the rubber in order to secure finally to ladder using small bolt / washer/ nut
A very useful purchase to ensure ladder continued safe use
Thankyou

Solid rubber and good quality

My 40 year old aluminium ladders had a smaller box profile than modern ladders so I used a band saw and a tenon saw (dont use a hacksaw as the blade will wander) to trim down. Cover with masking tape so that you can clearly see pencil line) Cut slightly over size for a snug tap in fit. And drill to fix self tapping screws. These will last for many years.

Ease of fitting rubber feet to my extension ladder.

The feet were solid rubber and had indents marked for cutting to different sizes. I used a tenon hand saw to cut about 2mm of each end, this was quick and easy, the width is fixed so get right size. The width was a snug fit but using a rubber mallet it was easy to hammer into the ladder and then screwed screws provided to secure rubber feet in place. This process took 20 mins to complete job of putting both feet on the ladder. Very impressed with product much sturdier than original feet on the ladder. Secret is to use the correct tools. Some people suggested hacksaw but would think teeth would clog with rubber.
